What would your Ultimate D2 bulid be?

I was thinking about this and was curious what other people thought.

    Here are the rules:

Must pick one skill from every character, and no more than one skill.

Must pick one skill for the different level requirements eg: (1,6,12,18,24,30) leaving one skill of your choice at any level.

My build (tried for a Matrix type feel):

    1:Firestorm (Druid)
    6: Burst of Speed (Assasin)
    12: Slow Missle (Amazon)
    18:Vigor (Pally)
    24:Increase Speed (Barb)
    30:Frozen Orb (Sorc)
    Extra skill: Decrepify (Necro)

All this with a Holy Freeze merc. The Firestorm is a little out of place, but I couldn't think of a better lvl1 Druid skill for my build type.

Probably woulnd't get to far in Hell, but would be a fun one to try. What is your build?

    1 - critical strike (amazon)
    6 - static field (sorceress)
    12 - cyclone armor (druid)
    18 - concentrate (barbarian)
    24 - Dragon Flight (assasin)
    30 - fanatism (paladin)
    extra - decrepify (necromancer)

I think this could be nice...and actually survive too...

edit: though my idea of the ultimate build is my zealot ;)

Nice Build Borlag, Fanat with concentrate and dragon flight would be deadly not to mention doubling it with critical strike!

@nemar I like the idea of zeal and critical stirke as well, big damage!

1: Amplify Damage (Necro - To break lots of PIs. 1 point wonder)
6: Static (Sorc - First selection. 1 point wonder)
12: Zeal (Pally - Main Attack)
18: Battle Cry (Barb - Free PDR)
24: Battle Orders (Barb - Life is Good)
30: Fanatacism (Pally - Hit em hard, hit em fast!)
    Extra: Valk

My second option which is kinda cool (I think) is:
    1: Werewolf
    6: Static
    12: Weapon Block
    18: Life Tap
    24: Frenzy
    30: Fanat
    Extra: Valk

A blocking, leeching, quick attacking blender of death! I realise you can get life tap on items, but he's too lazy to switch. If I could be bothered switching, then perhaps Fade or Battle Cry (for PDR), or Dire Wolf for some buddies in the L18 slot.

Edit: Doh, forgot the extras. Oh well, make it a Valk for both builds. ;)

Well this is my suggestion for WW druid (if this only could be possible):

    1-Critical Strike
    6-Static Field
    12-Blessed Aim
    18-Fade
    24-Battle Orders
    30-Fury
    extra-Decrepify

    And Defiance merc of course

That would be the ultimate werewolf :D

level 1 - critical strike, amazon
level 6 - oak sage, druid
level 12 - wake of fire, assassin
    level 18 - teleport, sorceress
level 24 - battle orders, barbarian
    level 30 - fanaticism, paladin
    extra - amplify damage, necromancer

That would be a pretty tough kid, good for killing single enemies.

    Level 1: Raven (Druid)
Level 6: Burst of Speed (Assassin)
    Level 12: Find Item (Barbarian)
    Level 18: Fire Wall (Sorc)
    Level 24: Bone Prison (Necromancer)
    Level 30: Redemption (Paladin)
    Extra: Lightning Fury (Amazon)

A little different, I think that these skills would pretty much own the game. The only things that can get through the Prison would be incorporal creatures, like wraiths, which will be blinded by the Ravens, anyway. Then a combination of fire and lightning would take them down. Hork some of the bodies, redeem some for life/mana, and off we go again.

I'd use a rogue merc, BTW.

Level 6: Burst of Speed (Assassin)
    Level 12: Cyclone Armor (Druid)
    Level 18: Iron Skin (Barb)
    Level 24: Blizzard (Sorc)
    Level 30: Conviction (Paladin)

Put this on an amazon and you have one hell of a tank that can kill as well.

1 Dragon Talon (Boss killer with CB) Assassin
6 Static field (for lazy boss killer)
12 Weapon Block (It can block almost everything...sheesh)
    18 Vengeance (good-bye PI)
    24 Meteor (Fire, crowd control)
30 Frozen Orb (Ice, crowd control)
extra- decrepify (To seriously spankify those bosses)

I would enhance the Shocking Ranger Paladin:

    - Holy Shock (Paladin, Lvl. 24)
    - Lightning Mastery (Sorceress, Lvl. 30)
    - Multiple Shot (Amazon, Lvl. 6)
    - Lower Resist (Necromancer, Lvl. 30)
    - Heart of Wolverine (Druid, Lvl. 18)
    - Howl (Barbarian, Lvl. 1) if someone should get too near
    - Cloak of Shadows (Assassin, Lvl. 12) err ... had to choose a Lvl. 12 Assassin Skill, and CoS is not too bad.

that woudl be one of my last options for a lvl 1. even with 5 of them no monster seems to pay attention to them or get damged unless its act 1 norm.

    30 Fanat - paladin
    18 Strafe - amazon
6? Burst of speed - assassin
30 Spirit of the Barb - druid
    1 Amp - necro
    1 Howl - Barb

What a ranger that would be IMO...

maybe that's because they can't see the ravens? *grins*

ok ok...the ravens have an ability of blinding the targets upon hitting them...they're not there for the damage....

Borlag beat me to it, but that's right. I'm only worried about the blinding, here, not the damage. I want everything standing nice and still.

    My dream build:

    20 Increase Speed
    20 Burst of speed
    20 Frenzy
    20 Feral Rage
    20 Charge

    0.0

Yeah.. I didnt bother about the level requirements... I think i'll need a 30000000 gigahertz processor to keep up with the speed though. and 20 gig ram.

    Slow 'em down build. :D

    Level 1: Dragon Talon (assy)
    Level 6: Oak Sage (druid)
    Level 12: Slow Missile (zon)
    Level 18: Holy Freeze (pally)
    Level 24: Decrepify (necro)
    Level 30: War Cry (barb)
    Extra: Glacial Spike (sorc)

Max PDR, max blocking, max resists and load up on Crushing Blow. He/she would be a very fast killer too with adding the cold damage from HF to DT.

I'd have to go with something like this:
    Lvl 1: Amplify Damage
    Lvl 6: Static Field
    Lvl 12: Avoid
    Lvl 18: Concentration
    Lvl 24: Battle Orders
    Lvl 30: Fury
    Extra Skill: Shadow Master

This is a flurry of high end blows. Battles start off with Amp, then Static until their ending point (33% NM; 50% Hell), then wack the hell out of them while the Shadow sets traps, MBs the group, then comes in with her various charges. I think this would be very fun to play. Avoid takes care of the pesky ranged attackers, esp. Burning Dead Archers and Slingers when they appear as guest monsters.
