What would you like to see in D3?

What would you like to see in D3?

I have been thinking, something I would like to see in D3 is the ability to load up D2 characters and play the game with them, if you finished normal with your necro in D2 then welcome to nightmare. I don't want the ability to start Necromancers, I understand the need for new character classes but I'd like to see the gameplay with an older class.

Anyway, what would you like to see? and why?

I don't quite get what you mean by "load up the character and play with them".
You posted in the wrong section, should be here.

I have a simple wish, which is to have the game free of hacks, dupes and bots, anything that will not be fair for all the players.

In other words, you just want to play the necromancer in D3... nope not possible.
Unless they made a expansion, but the necromancer returning... ewwww.

These are two completely different games made from different engines.

Stupid idea no offence Imagine what would it require to implement that into D3? They would have to remake all the old classes into D3 and also balance all the skills so that they would work in D3 environment. So instead of 5 classes they would need to make and balance 13.

not horribe idea but at the same time it wont happen and should not happen. how fun would it be to play through the new diable with a charecter already in its 80's+. that would be boring.

I would like to see a better battle.net set up. D2 was ok but it could be bettter. the make your own game was good, but this time if they include the different game type (tradeing, PVP, and PVM) they will need to add just a little bit more.

but as far as viewing game it stunk the big one. i would like the abilt to search games with key words, to find games you would be looking for. the ability to find the different type of games, and to choose which difficulty you want to look in. instead of the difficulty you just are on.

Better Bnet would be great. Biggest problem is not being able to filter the games I can join.

C'mon I don't need to see a game named adfisuhg;sob'pibjm'deigrj just cause someone can't find the item on a mule.

That would be great too, a better stash management system; I swear if I ever need 4 accounts of mules again I'll be pissed. (especially when you have to search each one!)

Transfer without perming games... like WoWmail.

Better class synergys and tactics. A barbarian playing with a wizard could make different tactical decisions then a barb playing with a witch doctor for different results. Different skill choices to better exploit the TEAM advantages, combo abilities etc. Basically allow for more small team tactics then just mashing same spell you'd be mashing playing alone.

More craftable and up-gradable gear.

I think i read that you stash in town will link to all your charecters together, for easier transfering and the stash should be biggers.

I also like the idea of upgradeable weapons.... since they will be droping rune and rune words, some way to enchante weapons other than gems. unless they improve the gems that will be a joke. I think Runes where so useful bythemselves too, and they will need to find something to replace it. Nothing like putting a Zod in an Eth Shaftstop back in the old day. and with the recipe to upgrade it that would be a cool armor.

I would like to see a horadric cube type item again, that was neet and i think should be something they should include again.

I would also like to see a special level you can get into after completeing the difficulty like the cow level. Some one in another post said for some type of dungeon the farther you go the harder it gets. something along that line could be cool. and maybe at the end of it a boss that will really test how good you are.

Change all items at weapon switch, not just weapon and shield.
-> more items slots, more versatile builds

Have 1-4 different battle gear in stash and ability to change all items with just one command.
-> easier prebuffing, easy to change to mf gear, pvp gear etc...

Have all Mercenaries (one of each kind or more) waiting in town, with full items slots. And pick one/none when going to battle.
-> more versatile merc, easier to change merc and no need for merc while pvp.

Ability to avoid running in town. Just give command to move from shop to another. Like F1=wp, F2=outside town F3=cain etc...
-> less time in town, more time in battle

no effence but that just seems a little lazy. and the first point you made, seems to have more downside to upside.

It seems not many people on the forums have talked much about enemies in detail. The "vampires" in D2 looked terrible, they looked more like aliens or bug people. In D3, I'd like to see a few different levels, like maybe thrall vampires (weak), vampire masters (mid-level), and ancient vampires (strong). And I'd like to see mid and strong-level vamps equipped with armor and weapons, not just fighting empty-handed.

Also, I'm hoping Blizzard doesn't make all humanoid bosses huge. The Skeleton King looks awesome, but was he a giant in life? He's enormous, even compared to the Barb. I understand that this helps players to distinguish him as a boss from his minion hordes, but there are other ways to do that. I hope there are normal sized bosses in D3.

Nerfed TPs, more synergies between classes to promote teamwork. Better PvP options.
