What would PvP be like with teleporting Fury Droods?? ifra

    What would PvP be like with teleporting Fury Droods??

    Just curious. Would a teleport fury druid be devastating? Even taking over the PvP games just like hammerdins :O:O:O

    I imagine 10k life, massive AR, High range and ability to have 2 lives (1Life reshifting thing) + Teleport would be troublesome in the PvP world.

    100%FCR Fury Droods. 2/20%FCR/30%FRW Circlets would be wicked.

    they would be amazing if you could teleport in wolf form.

    They might even take over hammerdins as the dominant build :eek:

    Too bad fury is blockable.

    Still would think that a "static" wolf would beat a telewolf. Shift-fury and bam! Those other guys would have some problems tho :laugh:

    i thought there was some sort of txt file that did that isnt there?. Like Far Cast? Or am i imagining things?

    i'd rather blizzard gave a passive frw increase to druid instead of letting shifted ones teleport.

    Yea the speed increase would be logic too. I mean theyre wolves, wolves arent slow...
    And nothing ridiculous like at slvl 2 it adds 100 frw. That would be silly, but something nice.
    Tele would be too powerful, i know. Or then it would have to be nerfed in other ways, and that just ruins it in my opinion.

    a 1% passive increase in frw with every skill point invested in the shapeshifting tree? Sounds less overpowered than anything else i can think of.

    Possibly overkill and well, it just doesn't fit the role of a werewolf. The best addition would have to be +leap (~6) and +leap attack (~1-6, doesn't matter) on a druid helm. These two skills make perfect sense for a werewolf which according to the movies and literature that we know of has huge jumping compacities and the ability to strike quickly from afar via jumping.

    The leap would serve primarily as a form of stun and less so a synergy to leap attack. It would also help in balancing the Necro vrs WW regardless that blizzard doesn't care about pvp.

    Someone posted that they wanted to see blizzard offer a druid runeword that came with the aura Vigor. That would be cool. I love the idea of a "Wolfhowl" for druids that would give barb leap skills that would be too much fun.

    I hate any idea that would make a fury druid a potential cc build .... that is why i like maulers ... besides the fact that bears look waaaaay better than wolves .... there is almost a 100% chance that bnet will never cater to a mauler ..... thus maulers will never be cc and always an almost impossible build to make ... and damn i love a challenge.

    if druids became cc's ... there is a good chance i would not only stop playing druids but i would quit d2 all together.

    but what about in 09 when maul bears WERE top melee and c/c? you played then.

    they just need to find a way to cut down the magic dmg

    be it magic resists, or magic absorb, the game would even itself out.

    oh, and fixing the grief bug would be decent as well.

    Well in all honesty maulers were not cc back then .... they were top melee but a lot of ppl would laugh when you turned into a mauler in 09 still b/c of ITH and such. I remember getting into HUGE debates in the grove about ppl saying fury > maul .. even though the top wolves would admit maul was greater ... yet not many really made them. I'm just saying .... if I joined a pub game and there were almost always 2-3 tele wolves in it ..... i dont think i could take it, I like being part of a nice small community, and not a big hateful one like some of the other forums tend to be.

    BTW i never really had a mauler in 09 :cry: ... I was in the process of making mine and i JUST got my 4 x max/max jewels .... and .10 came and they all poofed ... i didnt even have time to put them in my armor and take him for a trial run ... he was all leveled and everythin.:cry: .

    Wolves should't tele.
    Increased speed bonus added to the werewolf skill and leap from some nice dru item would be much more cooler, as it's been already stated.
