What weapon to make doom out of?
I've been thinking about this since I will do a frost zealot and a fire zealot.
I plan to make a doom runeworded weapon for my frost zealot and i intend to have fanatacism for right mouse button so I can have 2 auras going at once.
So the question is, if I plan not to use fanatacism and purely just max out Holy Freeze with synergies which is better? A 5 OS Caddy? Or a 5 OS War Spike? I actually don't have the war spike but I can probably look around and hopefully trade for one soon. On the other hand I do have a 5 OS superior caddy with 11% ed as well as 14% dur (making repair costs really mean). But I have many ort runes so I can just repair it after awhile and it has 79 durability on it with bonus 14% durability mod. I also have a 5 socket phase blade but then my damage will be a bit too low, my caddy is 41-47 damage (the damage difference compared to the phase blade isn't that high, but 20% slower for about 10-12 damage?). I also have a premade doom on a zerker axe with sufficient damage, but I intend to use that if I go with fanat. If I don't go with fanat I have either a war spike, a caddy, or a phase blade.
Phase Blade: 31-35 Damage, -30 speed, 2 Range (no need to repair obviously)
Caduceus(superior): 41-47 Damage, -10 speed, 2 Range (due to superior affecting dur, alot more to repair, this has no extra paladin mods)
War Spike: 30-48 Damage, -10 Speed, 2 Range (since I don't have a 5 OS one yet, I can't say much else)

most people would probably say just use the doom zerker, max synergies and attempt to use fanat with it. I'm inclined to agree but I wanna play my frost zealot a bit different.
