Re: What was that movies name?
I need help too! I made a thread for this a while back and no one solved it, so here it is copied an pasted:
I saw this ending to a movie long ago and I was so young, I can barely recall it. So the movie ends with this guy, surely the hero or protagonist, looking at a beautiful woman....
Tragically, right before his eyes, she begins to decompose as he looks on glumly. Her face turns to slime, very slowly, and you can see her slime face running off the bones and dripping off. Meanwhile, the camera (IIRC) goes back and forth to show the man watching this horror take place, then back to show the woman's face as it reaches some new level of yuckiness. Each time the camera shows the woman again, there is a MAJOR change in the effects used on her face.
So the camera is showing the man watching in dread, then the camera shows the face of the woman again. This time, her eyeballs are gone and we see empty blackness underneith and of course her face even more reduced to slime. So it gets more and more horrible each time the camera looks back from the man to her.
There is some sad music, and that is how the movie ends! I think she must be his love interest in the movie. I'm not sure, but it MAY or may not be in a medieval setting, or maybe I'm just assuming because this seems like some really nasty curse. The man (IIRC) looks, idk, dirty or exhausted as though he's been through some ordeal and this is some sort of punishment for getting the job done or w/e. What else...somehow, she is standing up while dying this way facing the man, kind of like in Indiana Jones when the vilain drinks from the wrong grail and turns into a skeleton. But in this film, it's really slow and horrible to watch. I think the woman is kind of skeletal in the end, and the movie ends very sadly like this.
Does anyone know what the hell movie this is? It's really old, like early 80's at least. And it's not SHE (1965).
Edit: Another thing: you know the box to the old movie 'Demons 2'? It showed an ugly undead thing standing there. It had a moss-like texture to it and gunk or slime. Well the woman looked a bit like that at one point. And the eyes were 'suddenly' poped out...like they are there one second, the camera goes to the man, and next time we see the woman, her eyeballs are just completely gone.
