What to do with extra points (Meteor)

I'm making a Meteor MF sorc (at ** right now), but I have 10 points left to spend on skills.

Here's how it looks so far:

I was thinking of putting them into Inferno because it's a synergy, but is the 3% really worth it?
My other idea was Enchant for enchanting my merc, but since I mainly use him as a FI breaker and a tank, it seems a little pointless.

Suggestions?

I like hydra, so maybe a point in there. Also, get a cold armor and teleport, if you don't have those already. After that, decide whether or not you like hydra. If you do, the points go there. If you don't, put them in the synergy.

Enchant will still boost the merc's AR, meaning he hits more often, and therefore, kills faster *. Also, Enchant's useful in a party, and worth at least a point in my eyes.

Hydra actually can have decent damage too, since you've already synergied it. :p

Static Field (in the lightning tree) is always worth a point if you haven't done that yet. Maybe more than one if you find the radius lacking.

Teleport can lower your mana cost if you have issues with mana while teleporting.

Otherwise, Inferno seems like the best of what's left to me. I'm not a fan of the cold armors that Niklet mentioned, but that's just me.


* I read a post here recently that said Enchant's AR was useless on a merc. Maybe it was correct, but I don't think so.

I got Frozen Armor, Static, and Teleport all at level 12, with one hard point in each.

My merc has Insight, so you can't even see my mana go down when tele-ing, but I need to down a few Mana pots when I don't have him. (Which is almost never)

Although....Not having my merc would make killing Meph a whole lot easier when using the moat trick.

So considering that, would it be best to put points into Warmth or Tele?
I currently have 564 Mana (Only put 5 stat points into Energy), which is bumped up to 712 with Frostburns, but then I lose the 40 MF from my Chancies.

Hmm...well I tried letting my merc tank Meph and failed (I blame it on Amp Damage), so I'm trying to run him solo now.

I can get to D. Lvl3 with about quarter/half my mana left usually.

I can also kill him without using mana pots (or Insight), so I definitely won't put any in Warmth.

i'd go a point into Glacial Spike (to hold fire immunes steady while ya merc pounds 'em) then dump the rest to Hydra (assuming you already have a point in static field).
