Someone recently quit playing D2 and left me a few things; I xferred a few of them to my own summoner. He's fairly well decked now and his minions' power level feels pretty good. Here's what he has right now:
Shako PTopaz
22 Mara's
AoKL
Scarab husk Enigma
Homunc, pdiamond
Trang's Gloves
Rare res/MF boots
Rare resist ring
SoJ
Thundergod's belt
Torch, 4x Summon skillers, resist and mana charms
Merc has: Obedience GPoleaxe, Andy's visage, eth Fort (this should really be CoH/Bramble, I think, but it was free -_-).
A lot of this is stuff you already have. I jacked up his Lit Res to the 85% limit from TGods - Souls are usually no big deal. He runs WSK like he owns the place. Baal goes down to cold/poision from mages, Slow from Gumby, Decrep from me and Crushing Blow from merc. Just tele the army right into his lap and Decrepify him, pretty much.
Ubers - I haven't done Trist proper with him. I ran the mini-ubers for an organ set though, and that went pretty well:
Duriel - Minions got a bit distracted by random monsters, this got Duriel focused on my merc who had to be resurrected a couple times. Once I got the army focused on the proper target, it was fine.
Izual - Tele'd around carefully, Revived random monsters along the way. Merc managed not to get IM'd and die. Izzy didn't stand a chance with 30 assorted skels, 19 revives, Gumby and Merc all pounding on him.
Lilith - Same. Merc managed not to get poisoned to death. I tele'd the army into a side room and Lilith happened to be in it - her first poison attack made my necro pretty ill, so he had to gulp a rejuvy, but the army quickly swamped her after that. She was pretty helpless.
Anyway - not trying to hijack here. Our toons are shaping up to be somehwhat similar, so I wanted to give you an idea of what to expect. Mini-ubers were frankly a lot easier than I thought they would be; I'd say you're about ready to give them a try.
