I joined a game entitled: Bugged, and in there this guy had this leg, and when he put it on, and used one of the charges it had, he would go invisible and would runa round un seen. It was very very strange, idk if anyone else has seen this yet. He said it has 4 charges and cost about 125k gold a charge, but u cant see charges unless u put it on. I was optining to trade for it just to see what it was about but i didnt get up the guts enough to give into his 2 soj bottom line price.

COuld this be the return of, bugs?

did you look at the link? did you read what i said? He went invisible, and appeared out of no where, either it was a hack or it was the item. It could be a scam but at the same time that item is pretty wierd. You flaming me doesnt prove anything.

And the fact he could go invisible while hostile, and kill me while still invisible scares me alot. You cannot see him on the map nor his char or merc or auras (etc.). If this is a hack and leaks over to hc.. .. ...

But what makes me think it could have been the item, is because this guy kept getting himself lost with it on and not knowing where he was. He may have looked fake when he asked for sojs for it, but when he kept asking me where he had gone and where i was when he was standing right next to me with this thing equiped makes it seem even more wierd.

It is just a trick. It has been done for some time now.

It's an imbued wirt leg found in one of the other diffuculties (hence the red text). My guess is this guy is using a certain program that let's you "teleport" anywhere on the screen (also in town, and through walls, it's a very old hack, dunno if it still works), and he's adding more distance to the teleport via maphack which has a scroll feature (you can basicly move your screen another fullscreen away).

Even if such an item existed, B.Net would have it deleted since it isn't in their possible items database. That's how all those Occy rings and ITH items back in 1.09 were destroyed, BNets item database files didn't support their existence.

I guess it's the "travel with Warriv"-trick you mention.
The guy travels with Warriv to act 2, says "Now I put leg on", then travels back to act 1 with Warriv and says "And now I took it off". Never seen it myself, but I'm sure this is how they do it.

Ask the persons who try to fool you this way to perform it in act 5 :lol:
Or just follow them to act 2 and ask "When are you gonna be invisible?".

Did you actually see him on the automap while he was running around, invisible?

In that case I admit it's strange. Probably some maphack feature or stuff like that then. I don't think the leg has anything to do with it. He just wants to make you believe you get that "godly powers" by wearing the leg and then try to trade it to you for some isane price. An advanced scam.

Well i thought that too, but i wasnt sure if that was accualy an item, thats why i posted. You couldnt see him on map but you could still get killed by him, and my orbs i shot did hurt him when he was near. And then he would appear out of nowhere after he killed you. then go back into invisible off and on right infront of ur face,

You could name lock him and see where he was that way, or did he disappear for real?
