What should I max first?

I am a blizzard sorc with maxed blizz, 1 in cold mastery, and a few in icebolt/blast/glacial. I read the guides, but what should I max first (blast or glacial or cm). What is the reasoning?

I'd go with glacial spike since I use it as my left click attack and it is much more useful than Ice Blast because you can freeze an entire group of creatures and then kill them with your devastating blizzard :thumbsup:

EDIT: didn't see that you have CM in your options for maxing, get CM up to -100%(or immediatly max it). Once your blizzard and CM spells are maxed, nothing will stay alive longer than a second or 2 anyway :uhhuh:

You should by all means max CM first. This will make you do always double damage no matter what cold resistances on a monster you encounter.
After that its either Iceblast or Glacial Spike and last Icebolt.

Why max CM first?
Well if you max Iceblast or Glacial Spike first the damage displayed will be higher, but some of that damage will most likely be resisted making your actual damage output lower. With maxed CM and ~+12skills you reach slvl 32 CM and so you will always be doing double damage to any monster except DClone.
You will not loose any actual damage due to cold resistances that monsters have.

Not to disagree with Dennis, but I disagree with Dennis. I recommend maxing Ice Bolt last as I never use it. For freeze, use Glacial for damage use Blast. Bolt is only for a synergy, so do it last.

You're right my mistake sorry. Shouldn't max ice bolt first it's pointless.
I'd recommend blast and then spike.
