What should i do?

My Necromancer is a hybrid right now and i want to know how i could build him with the stats i have now:

level 29: Normal difficulty, Expansion

Head: +26 hp +17 mana

amulet: +1 summon skills, poison length -26%

weapon: wand with +1 to all necro skills. +2 to life tap, +1 to summon resist. 60% damage to undead + 5 % to cast level 3 lightning on attack

body: +17 hp +24 mana

shield: Demon head with +5% chance for frost nova when struck, 16% faster block ra2te, 10% inc. of blocking, 2-7 poison over 3 sec, +1 to CE, and 5% inc fire

other gear has buffs but not good enough to really note ( i didnt list all the buffs here either, just the big ones)

Attrib. Stats:
Str: 55
Dex: 39
Vit: 74
En: 66

skills ( with gear buffs in consideration):
6 skellie mast.
9 raise skellie
4 clay golem
3 golem mast.
6 skellie mage
3 summon resist
4 blood golem
3 iron golem

4 teeth
2 bone armor
3 CE
3 bone spear
2 bone wall
2 bone prison

2 amp dmg.
2 maiden
2 confuse
4 life tap

My main goal is to beat diablo right now... My gear and skills arent great I know but im planning to grind to around level 32-33 before I fight Diablo again.


Any help? please?

To be blunt, this is very poorly done... You should probably read over Nightfish's Fishymancer guide and just rebuild your character from scratch.

you dont meant from level 1 right? I dont know if there is a way to reset skills... and i Definetly dont want to redo Duriel... and act 2



let me note that i have no trouble dealing with mobs, its just Diablo, and im not planning to pvp with this guy, it was more of my own personal guy i made just to get a feel of the game, but this doesnt mean ill trash him when im done

If you insist on killing Diablo with this character, then here's what you can do.

1) Get Decrepify and use it every few seconds against Diablo.
2) Use items with + Life or +% Resist Fire.
3) Shop in Act 1 (Akara) for a wand with +3 Raise Skeleton.
4) Use a Clay Golem against Diablo.
5) Resummon your Clay Golem if it dies.
6) Buy a lot of potions and use them liberally.

You should still read over Nightfish's guide though. It should tell you everything you need to know.

I also heard that investing in clay golem is a bad idea because of his damage input, is this wrong?

Clay Golem is more or less a one point wonder. It's extremely useful though.

thanks, ill make a new necro on online with the fishy build, and continue to work on this necro with all the points i have left ( 70 at least) into the fishymancer build

Welcome Newcomer to The Darkness. Grab a brew and feel free to raise some corpses.

All guides are in The Mouldy Tome: Necromancer Guides, Tips and Tests.

You can always use IM in combo with your Merc and Clay to get Diablo down. takes a while, but it is a time honored tactic.
