What should I be doing?

I just got this game about 3 days ago and already I am level 79. I'm wondering what I should be doing to get gear for my specific class.

I play a paladin, Blessed hammer speced as it were and I have no idea what to do next.

Any assistance would be great. I just get really frustrated when I run baal runs with people to level but end up not getting any gear. Just wondering what I should be doing to get said gear.

TY ahead of time. And what should be my next character to level or same just different spec?

(I forgot to mention that I'm making this post because my gear is obviously not that great. My hammers kill most things in hell quickly but if they touch me a few times Im usually at low health)

Public Baal runs are not the place to get gear. Do runs on your own. The Mausoleum, the Pit and the World Stone Keep are good places for that. You'll want to get mf gear totaling about 100% to 150% to improve the items that drop.

How much resist, health, defense and blocking does your hammerdin have?

And what should be my next character to level or same just different spec?

That depends. What goals do you have for your next character? I recommend starting a summoner necro and playing through the game without rushing. You've only had this game for 3 days and your current character is level 79? You're skipping the game in order to make some of your numbers bigger.
