What is your def?

I dueled a conc barb a few days ago and lost (could not hit much even with angelic set). He claimed to have 56k def! That seems very high to me. What is the usual def on a good PvP barb? I have 25k (when using conc) and tought it was good... (I dont have Iron Skin maxed).

is your barb conc build? is he bvb, bVc, mixed? lvl 20 conc gives 290% enh. def. so i see no prob in him having 56k! did you try to conc him or ww or what? plz do tell...........

my barb is still lvling so he's wearing enigma(126x def) and with max shout/1 in iron skin i have around 14k def. from my expirience good ww bvb barbs have 25-30k def(and i dont mean when using conc :xgrin: )

56K def is easy for a con barb. In full dueling gear with eth stone my ww barb can run 58K

17-18k is normal for an allround barb, 22k+ is needed for BvB. I have 18K or 21.5K depending on armor (none of my armors are ethereal)

1 point in prereqs and the so called one point wonders

I was using a 380% EBOTD CB, Arreats, SS, Angelic set (2 rings), Gore Riders, T-Gods, Draculs, Archon Enigma.

I started using conc and changed to ww after a while, but the hit rate was quite bad in both cases...

It seems conc is not that bad for PvP after all... or maybe I just need more PvP experience... (I dont duel a lot). Now I am making a pure conc barb!

don't do that! imho conc is a bad skill to use in PvP, ofc if used as main skill(if used as support to ww it can be devastating to your opponents), and besides cut my throat, and call me crazy if you kill any caster with conc. i must say that this observation doesn't come form my own expirience, but from general understanding of the barbarian class and from my friends who are better duelers than i.

your build is not bad except for too many points in conc(don't get me wrong i just try to put out the most tweaked setup)!

if i were you i'd try this:

beast ba/high def duress/ss/draculs/angelics/arreat/gore/verdungo and nice set of charms!

ww is one of the best skills in the game, master it and you will win!
