What is this animation?

I am not sure how to post an image. The animation looks like red raindrops and stays on for about a second when my might merc hits using a Rapers Toll. The Decrepify animation comes on also. This is in SP. Thanks

Red raindrops!? Maybe open wounds?! The monster start to bleed and split blood (=red stuff) everywhere, usually lefting a pile of blood on the floor.
Another possibility is crushing blow that looks loke a small red blast. But reaper's don't have both mods... What is the rest of the equipment?!

Ok, I figured it out. Any Necro curse cast is accompanied by this animation over the character casting it ( Reapers toll merc casting decrepify in this case) accompanied by the blue animation over the cursed monsters. I never played necro much so I never noticed it before. Thanks all.

It's not over the character casting, it's over the area which is affected by the curse. Decrepify has a low radius, but it's very easy to see when playing a necro, since some curses have huge radius with some +skills. (Amp, lower res comes to mind).

Its used to show the player where the curse was layed. Feedback in other words, it does nothing more.
