What is the most embarrassing thing you have said?
I am not sure if it is the most embarrassing, but it certainly is in the top five.
It was when I was 16 and working as a shelf stocker in a large grocery store. I was newly out and still very nervous around men I was attracted too. I was down on my knees stocking the bottom shelf on an aisle. It was summer and this gorgeous man walks up, shirt open, golden skin. I look up from my kneeling position and I am just stunned. I mean to say “How can I be a service to you?†what actually came out was “Can I service you?†I was mortified. He said very politely for the situation, said no thank you or some such and turned around and walked away.
I ran to the backroom and stayed there for at least a half hour hoping he had left the store before I came out.
So that is one of mine, how about yours?
