What is ladder reset?

What is ladder reset?

I am still not understanding the concept of the ladder reset. What happens? Does everything dissappear (items/characters/whatever else)? Thanks.

Nothing disappears. All ladder items and chars become non ladder. So if you have any non ladder chars right now they will be able to use the stuff your ladder chars are using right now, IF the ladder ever resets. If...

It's very simple. Reseting the ladder is very much like reloading the matrix:
The One himself (G Fraizer) unpluggs from matrix (logs off the battle.net), goes back to the source (Blizzard HQ in Irvine), reinserst his code for a reload (logs in to his account on mainframe), reloads the matrix (resets the ladder). And voila - all anomalies (dupes, hacks) are gone and banished to Zion (non ladder). Well i hope it helps, if ou have any unaswered questions seek out the Oracle (blizz tech support). Good luck
