what is godly item?
much better than elite items?
"Godly" is a term used to decribe items or runewords that people consider to be the best in the game. Examples are Enigma, Call To Arms, Heart of the Oak, Breath of the Dying, Paladin Combat GC with +40 Life, Arachnid Mesh, Death's Web, etc.
Godly: 101-200% enhanced defense. Spawns on magical body armor, shields, belts, gloves, boots, helmets, circlets, barbarian helms, druid helms, paladin shields, and necromancer shields.
Lol. Don't confuse the newcomers now.
Actually Enigma, CTA, HOTO, BoTD, Arach and Death's web are not necessarily Godly.
They have to be 1300+ def enigma, 6 BO CTA, 400+ ED BoTD and near perf death's web, thats "Godly"
thanks, now I know some
Godly items are those which are perfect in all respects and extremely rare as well, e.g. a rare item with 6 of the "best" mods (which these are is debatable) and all being at their maximum value.
That prefix can also spawn on rare items too.
Blue items can also be godly, basically godly depends on the build. The term just means the best for a given build.
An example, my dual elemental druid's godly weapon is a blue club with +3 elemental skill tree and slvl 7 charges of fissure. yes its a blue item but for the build no other item would be better as a 1 handed weapon. So the +3 elemental club of fissures is a godly weapon.
Godly is strictly slang. What one person thinks is godly might be another person's 35,000 gold fodder. When someone says, "Wow, that's a really nice rare, but not Godly" they're simply saying you got a nice dohickey but it could be better if you'd gotten even luckier with the mods.
