On the other classes you can argue out the different armors. Fort for 300 ed, CoH for mad resists, Duress for CB. With plenty of faster R/W getting around isn't much of a problem for other classes.
The reason tele shines so much on summoner is that when you run too fast, your summons poof. While a summoner does massive damage, his damage is divided at least 30 ways, when there is a large mob it slows down the kill speed. Enigma allows you to focus your damage on one target, allowing you to more quickly get that 1st body to start the CE chain. With amp/conviction in effect my warriors/mages when stacked do almost 60,000 damage per second, that is not counting merc and 25 revives.
Tele is nice on other classes for fast transport, but enigma completly transforms a summoner to almost a god like state.
