What does this mean on an item ? [L92]

    I just saw a pic of a crafted item . Does the [L92) signify that's it's on LADDER ?

    If not , what ?

Newbness just hit me , but if it is a Ladder item , then I understand as I don't play LADDER ;)

I've heard that they're some feature of maphack that shows the item level and other various stats. Perhaps the screenshot was taken with this turned on? Either that or it could just be a personalized item.

Nope, doesn't look personalized because it would be L94's Bone Scarab.

Thanks Pilgrim , not trading with a cheat then , thanks alot .

It's not personalized because he has many items with many diff. lvls of numbers ;)

If it was possible to personalize amulets that is. It isn't as far as I know. Haven't tried since 1.09 though.

It's a maphack feature that is indicating the iLvl of the item.

EDIT: It appears that I am reallllly slow

EDIT2: It order to make it seem as if this post was worth something..... Yes Fearox, you are correct, amulets cannot be personalized.

Now thats a pretty handy feature, damn...didn't know it could do that now.

oh and btw, it doesn't mean cheat item, merely that whomever took the screenshot is a maphack user (called a cheater), but the item itself can be fully legit.

Not to mention that you can't use numbers in your character names.

I was just told in another channel that apparently some legit traders uses modified maphack, they then use it to show item level so its proven to the buyer who would otherwise have no way else to know.

    I can understand doing that.

I used MH in 1.09... I don't know what's changed in the new, 1.10 version, but I'm pretty sure that making a MH like you said is impossible. Actualy making some other user see the ilvl is the impossible bit, as I see it.

I can understand checking the ilvl of an item for yourself, to check if it's legit or not, since I've done that myself in 1.09.

Going a little bit off-topic, I heard of a new modified/hacked (ironically) MH that allows you not to enter your cdkey nor pay $20 for it.
