The most useless thing in D2 is almost certainly the Traps set up in chests, jars, urns, assorted dead people, etc.

Usually, if you wanted to protect something, it would (a) be something of value, and (b) be protected by a trap that killed anything in the immediate area, not a Fire Bolt that does less damage than a neutered Quill Rat in Normal Act 1...

Aye -
In D1, chests could kill you. In D2 they just illuminate the immediate area. They should be like Fire shrines :)

Probably me, the high-quality player that I am- not.... :thanks:
Of the in-game items I'd say stamina potions. I've NEVER used one.

a item crafted with
101 min level char

If you find bettter than that !!!!
I thought, that in the 1.10 patch they don't exist and the highest is 99. And the most useless is those lvl 1 charges with max 19-25 dmg and repair costs of about 100k

Um... The unique Long Staff Serpent Lord.

Truly, why would someone ever use this thing?

i dunno what you're all talking about, stamina potions are useful early on. especialy with the patch, since they grant you infinite stamina for abou 30 seconds or so.

everyone should know the most useless thing is the rouge that stands at the cold plains entrance, doing absolutely nothing but taking pot shots at quillrats.

it really depends on your character... i've always found rings and amulets with "10% faster cast rate" to be absolutely useless with my barbarian... just as i have found ethereal items useless. i hate the damn things - i found a pretty good shield that was a unique, but it was ethereal... so what did i do? i tossed it in my ATMA stash just because i collect uniques... and i really needed a shield like it too.

Ethereal equipment ****ing blows.

The most useless thing in all of D2 is definately the throwing potions. I mean seriously, I have never seen anyone use the blasted things. They might as well not even be in the game.

I would have to say crystal swords. I see them all over, but after the 1st time i picked one up, I never have again. Stamana potions I use early on, same with various poison pots (I usually play the 1st act on /p8, so they help without good weapons).

the quest reward from anya for rescuing her... hmmm, i just saved you from a horrible death in an icy prison and you give me a crappy rare that MIGHT have been useful about 15 levels ago? thanks, but no thanks, babe. you can have it right back and shove it where the sun don't shine while you're at it.

stamina pots. who has ever used 1????
along with stamina pots, its got to be the great marsh.
hands up all those who enjoy going through all 8 miles of great marsh, for no reason at all?
