What do you think I should do?

I have a nice 4 open socket glitched hell forge plate with 1100+ defense.

Should I make a fortitude with it for my merc or something else? What would you do?

Stone or Fortitude for your merc.

Fort is nice, i wouldn't really make a stone. IMO mercs can do better with other easy to get armors. What's the str req on a hellforge anyways, I'm not sure i'd bother to make anything out of it.

196 for a normal one; 186 for an ethereal one.

a2 mercs'll be plenty capable of wearing a hellforge.
It's not worth making a stone, since fort has gives much better defense (the only reason to use a stone) and other stats, and the cost difference is negligable.

On Europe the armor isn't good enough for Fortitude IMO, as HRs are more expensive here, but on US East/West, HR=2Um AFAIK which is just a little bit more than the value of the Stone runes in separate.

    Nice trap :azn:

To clarify this, Fortitude just has 200%def while Stone has up to 290%def. However, Fortitude has a 20% chance to cast L15 chilling armor which will add another 115%def.
