student loans - ~£3K pa
accommodation - ~£3K pa
gym/pool membership - £80 pa
food - ~£30 pw
booze/club entrance - ~£30 pw maybe
Summer holidays - anywhere from earning £1.5 to spending £800 really.
That's pretty much it though I'll have to get around to buying clothes soon, also planning to shell out on headphones. We can get £1 double shot mixers, 50p pints, etc 2 nights a week.

Montly usage:
5000NOK - rent inculding internet
2000NOK - food
200-1000NOK - DVDs and computer games
500-1000NOK - chips/candy/sweets
1000NOK - bus trips back to my moms house

THat's pretty much all I spend money on. :crazy:

No one but me counts taxes and fees huh?
Sales tax alone in 8.75% here now California's top personal income tax rate and sales tax rate is the highest in the USA.
Add Property tax, License fees, Gas and other pass through taxes etc.
Federal tax and programs like Medicare and SS that I will never see benefits from because they will go broke by the time I qualify or raise the age limit again so I die before I do and it's really #1 and 2 on my list.

This year I haven't paid tax, but I'm in a bit of a funny economy - no tax but my rent was ~$35,000 for a crappy two bed flat on the outskirts of town

17.000 CZK appartment+mortgage
5.000 CZK food and beer (for 1 person! I like good food)
4.000 CZK death,health,social insurance
3.000 CZK hollidays
2.000 CZK sports (gym,bike,volleyball,sport clothes)
1.500 CZK gifts (my family is quite large and we take gifts quite seriously, anyone having more than 30 Xmass gifts under Xmas tree? I mean for yourselves?)
800 CZK TV+internet
400 CZK phone.
1500 savings


Which is already more than I earn :scratch:

EDIT: I haven't bought a computer game in ages, the new one costs 1.5-2K here!

1. Rent
2. Car
3. Car insurance
4. utilities (internet, minimal cable, electricity)
5. gas
6. food
7. entertainment

In a couple of months I have to start paying back student loans...I'm not looking forward to that. Speaking of which: anyone know of a good place to consolidate student loans with a decent (but not great) credit score?

1. $1500 Mortgage ($1200 payment plus $300 extra to help pay off the principal)
2. ~$10,000 Camera Equipment. This gets bought all at once and few and far between so its kind of hard to put a monthly cost to it.
3. ~$200 for food for my wife and I and two cats.
4. ~$200 for electric/oil/cable/trash/sewer
5. $120 for gas between the two of us
6. ~$100 for random stuff for the house.
7. $40 for eating out
