Yep, they tried for a while to make it illegal to sell goods in Imperial measurements but eventually failed - most places now sell in metric though.Phool - I see you are listed as being in the UK, you list what you eat in a period of time measured by a English standard (fortnight) then give all the measures of food in metric terms? Is that how they sell it over there now?
Any idea when grades come out? I'm so excited for BILD 3.Nah...I think this quarter went well in fact.
*crosses fingers*
I use fortnight because that's how often I do my shopping, other than perishables of course. Metric is ubiquitous as far as food shopping is concerned. Even pint bottles are labelled 568ml though you ask for a pint in a pub.Phool - I see you are listed as being in the UK, you list what you eat in a period of time measured by a English standard (fortnight) then give all the measures of food in metric terms? They're like that over here too, normally it's way overpriced but I only need one packet to make enough of the bake for two people for two nights, so it's actually economical.I love Tortellini but the only way to get it here is in these portion size plastic packages for $4 per per meal. That's too much for ravioli with no tomato sauce.
Wait, what?@TurbulentTurtle: Can you "Cube" that??? :spy: :scratchchin:
Are you kidding? BILD 3 is an Ecology and Evolution class. One of our final questions was something along the lines of, "Fossilized dung is a form of trace fossil that also has the name of __________." Yes, it was only briefly mentioned once in passing, and no, I didn't think the alternate name for **** was important enough to know for a final exam, considering, oh I don't know, everything else that's related to Ecology and Evolution that she covered in her powerpoint slides (that was fun). In fact, I still don't think it's important enough to know for any exam. All things you cover about Ecology and Evolution, and that's what stuck out to you as a good final exam question? Really?I think it should be out by the middle of the week.
BILD 3? That's one of the easiest classes I've ever taken at UCSD. If you don't get an A in that class....
Not a big fan of lemon in water, to be perfectly honest. I also don't like crazy amounts of ice in my water either.water tastes good with ice and lemon IMO
but just plain water in a cup is satisfactory too...
I took it during Fall quarter of sophomore year, and it was really easy. We had different professors though; I had Wills. I took it you had Henter? Are you kidding? Among the other stupid questions on the exam. Besides, who takes BILD 3 seriously other than the aspiring med school sophomores and juniors, anyway? It's BILD 3. Thermodynamics + Stat Mech + Organic Synthesis Lab + ARISTOTLE >>>>> 20 X BILD 3. Seriously.
Did the stoopid question give it away? :whistling:I took it during Fall quarter of sophomore year, and it was really easy. We had different professors though; I had Wills. I took it you had Henter?
