What char is best to beat hell solo untwinked?

Summon Necro
Trapper is a close second in my opinion (everything she needs can be bought in act V NM).

Well, I ask because I am putting together a 3 man team to beat hell untwinked. We had a javazon, a fire trapper, and a frost zealot. Things were pretty easy but we bumped into a bad pack in nm a3 and 2 of us died.

We are thinking

summon nec
fanatic zealot
hammerdin/fire sorc

Any ideas on a fun and effective team? My char has to be melee (casters are nt) but the other 2 are flexible.

Got to say that looks like a goodie ADSL.

Could go with druid/barb/necro for massive safety overkill, bur with hammerdin kill rate will be much better.

I voted trapsin because:
summon necro -> boring
boring -> not fun to play
not fun to play -> playing feels like work
playing feels like work -> hard to get the nerve up to play
hard to get the nerve up to play -> hard to play
hard to play != easy to play through hell

Three Players untwinked ?

If you allow multiple countess runs:

Bone Necro (White Wand just might be possible)
Any paladin with Conviction
Meteorb

Get yourself an Insight and no more mana problems.

Could substitute the Bone Necro for a Lightning Trapper or LF Zon.

Summon Necro
Conc Barb
Cold Sorc

Why does everyone choose a Conc or WW Barb over a Wind Druid? Is an extra +1 skills really going to help everyone that much? Is the added mana and defense all that crucial when you can just throw an 'Insight' Polearm on a Defiance Merc?

Wind Druids can actually kill untwinked, they don't have to worry one bit about resists due to Cyclone Armor (can give good resists gear to the other two party members), and they can even summon a few capable meat shields.

And how much easier is it to equip a spellcaster untwinked? 'Lore', 'Spirit', 'Stealth'... what are the chances you'll find a nice melee weapon for your Barb?

He said he wanted to play a melee char.

What exactly does the word "best" mean? Easiest? Fastest? Safest? Less dependent on good items?
Well, fastest can be pretty unsafe in the same time.
Sumoner is safe, but not as fast, as, for example, a Hammerdin.
You can depend on good items, but in the same time you still can do some MF'ing yourself and find something good. You can be a melee build and occasionaly find a cruel weapon with 40 IAS, and this will pretty much fix the item problem.
And also:
if the question is about THREE characters playing together, it becomes completely different from if it was meant for a single character.
My opinion for a good HC untwinked team:
1) Full-LF Javazon. She doesn't need a second type of damage, because of the party. Valkyre and Decoy are good "meat shields" for party. She needs Titans though... But I think rare +2 javelins will do the job.
2) Sorceress. Probably Meteor or Blizzard.
3) An Avenger. With Conviction the first 2 chars will do insane damage.

Summon nec + oak = tank
nec + auras = dmg
Ele + hammers = killers untwinked


its a walking team, but its a safe team that will clear the area of bad guys

She could make do with a Cracked Jav...
Only thing you'd really want is a Dense Replenish pack.
Everything else is gravy - including skill points or leech.
