What are the current exploits/hacks?

Would anyone be so kind as to bring me in the loop on the current realm situation:
What are the major play altering exploits?
Is there any point in trading?
Is item value still existent?
And: Is there any point in playing?

Cheers!

I would wait if I were you. Currently there are some kind of rune poofing going on at US West. Noone knows very much about this; if it will get to the other realms and so on. Check the threads about this, the threads about scammers and the bug forum and I think you will get to know the most important stuff.
There is a point playing though. And I'm almost certain you can trade stuff besides from runes (and obvious non ladder dupes/bugged items, if they're still around).
By the way, love your avatar and nick name! :yep: Oz rocks!!

there are also bots. For those who don't know what a bot is I will explain.
It is basically a script or 3rd party prgoram that auotmates movements or actions in the game, such as buying/selling over and over, or running pindle continually.

Seems leeching wasn't promptly patched.

Bots can be programmed to do almost anything a human can within the game :/

actually only d2 player relates word "bot" to a third party program and so on. In general a bot is short for "robot" ie "something automated". For instance in most FPS games bots are players controlled by computer.

You hash out other ppls info and think you are the shizznit for being all knowing. Its OK to "quote" other ppl and long as you give credit where credit is due. The end of your post should've looked like this --

Thx to ThereIsNoSpoon for that bit of info

Try hanging out in the Newcomer Forum for awhile before coming back here
