what a weekend

Finally got my 1st ladder enigma!
oh yeah!
i had to trade a 24% maras + skuders for the ber rune to finish it
was that a good trade by the way?

now my pally has a 11 K hammer and can solo the game easily, teleing is sooo cool on other chars!

i found 2 skulders this weekend, 1 of wich i traded
and found 2x p/b charms and some other descent stuff
but not all my experienc this weekend was good

i was in a baal game with my pally, owning everything, everyone left for the next baal game, cept me and a ww druid, who can't kill sh*t
we go in, i take baal out in no time, and a ss drops, that *&*^(*%&*&^*&^ b*stard druid go it!

needless to say, i'm still pissed at that
i should have known better than let him stand around, next time i'll just hostile and kill his sorry a$$
mother *&^#*$%#(*%&)#%ing moochers, oh well...

sad when you get this pissed at a friggen computer game

Sorry to tell ya man but that is the way of things. Sure it sucks that you didn't get the ss but he clicked on in first and whether you are doing 11,000 or 11 when a boss dies it is a free for all. There is no code of the gamers that says he who does the most damage gets the items or he with the most magic find gets the items. If you don't want to share your drops create your own passworded games.
Congrats though on the enigma, any time you get that in a weekend you have to consider it a success.

i know it goes to the fastest clicker, i've been playing for over 3 yrs, and its not the 1st time its happened, i'm just saying i should have hostiled him and killed his sorry a$$, cause i knew he was mooching, it was my fault, i'm pissed at myself for not doing that! #&%#&$#*^$&* moochers...

oh yeah, right after he picked it up and talked smack to me, he dropped out of the game, i was hoping that since he got dc, he didnt get the ss
would that be possible, since he didnt save and exit, that the ss didn't get saved?

about the ber, i'm glad i got a good deal, even if the ber was duped, it was hard letting go of a lagit maras and skulders
i had my jah and ith right there, so sstuck it in the armor before it could disapear, if it was a dupe...

The coolest Enigma armor I have seen was on a character named Vyrr in Europe realms. It was made on superior Archon plate with high base defense. What really made it so cool was the fact that there were 7 people on the same game including me, who saw those high end runes to drop. That is a real rarity, a completely legit Enigma without any doubt. Nowadays too many people have that armor. The fun point with those runewords has been the fact that in early days of the ladder having even HOTO was a special thing and you pretty much never saw any of the high-end runewords, but then public rune duping came in and completely destroyed the mystery of having those "ultra rare" runewords.

Bad luck with the SS, but that's the reason why I prefer shared drops games or taking turns on who gets the Baal drops. In public games the worst thing with drops is that there is always someone with pickit and you have absolutely no chance to get any good drops, you might hear them drop, but never see those on the screen. Then there are those MH users that will pretty much get all good runes dropping from Baal's minions as MH can paint those runes with different color and hide useless items from the screen. So legit players are usually screwed badly on public Baal runs. This is why I started running the Pit in public Baal games. I could clear the Pit in about same time as public Baal game lasted and I got almost same exp from the Pit as from participating on that Baal run. The bonus was that I got to keep the items I found. The only bad thing was
that since I was doing that on level 95 Sorceress, people were always pissed off because I did not teleport to Baal for them. That's why most other classes with Enigma will make better Baal game Pit runners than Sorc as nobody expects them to tele.

Congrats on your Enigma though. You now have fastest experience gaining character build with best items in the game. The big question with next ladder season is whether any other character can beat Hammerdin in reaching level 99. Hammerdin really has no speed bumps in the form of immunities to worry about and insane survivability on top of that.

Congrats on the Enigma, i know what it is like to try and get the runes to make it, I still do not have them, not even one lol

I personally Rarly play open games to MF, it is just a wast of time if there are other people with you because half the time someone have a Pick-up hack on or there are just to many people and so few items :p Thats why i stick with plain ol' fashon private games were the drops are not as good but at least you get to keep what ever drops and it is not a 50/50 shot on whether or not you get the item.

He most like did get to keep the ss..

Mh has a quick exit feature (leave game pushing 1 button instead of the required 2 :rolleyes: ) and when using it, it says that "xxxx dropped due to timeout" instead of "xxxx has left our world".

it has become an adiction to lazyness
now that i have one, i want one for all my "walking" chars

to lazy to run, must tele!!!!

guess that means i only need 4 more enigmas...

Just waiting for a new ladder season to start and poof, no Enigmas in new Ladder until first duping wave hits which I hope would take some time.

well, i wouldn't get my hopes up on a new ladder sesonn anytime soon

if u've played d ii for a while, u know that blizzard has a tendency to put things off, or push them back, so if they say a certian date, add 6 months or a year to it, and it will be a much more acurate date

A thought occured to me on one of my pre-shower dumps. Blizzard will possibly delay the ladder reset untill a rival game's release date, possibly making that game lose potential sales to avid d2 players who want to get a jump on the new ladder season. Just a thought.
