Whacked out Firedin ? Was just wondering... you might know I've been rambling on about a Holy Trinity party (Holy Fire/Shock/Freeze). The Holy Fire paladin basically is nowhere in sight, and we might get a replacement for him... With our questing and Baal-killing and stuff, the Tesladin and I have (twice) had Kinemil's Awl drop... +6 to Holy Fire... Would it be a completely stupendous (ignoring Rune cost) to use once upgraded twice for a Charging Firedin ? Two-Hand Damage: (16-18) To (50-56) (33-37 Avg) Required Level: 23 Required Strength: 56 Required Dexterity: 34 Durability: 50 Base Weapon Speed:  +80-100% Enhanced Damage(varies) +100-150 To Attack Rating(varies) Adds 6-(20-40) Fire Damage(varies) +20 To Mana +6 To Holy Fire (Paladin Only) Upgraded to Balrog Blade would give : 55-118 base damage (110-236 for a perfect one) Str Req. of 185 (!) / 158 (w/ Hel Rune) Range 3 Base Weapon Speed:  This would give a Fire-damage added (assuming I don't muck up calc...) of : @ 20 : 109-127 * 4.6 [FireRes] * 1.6 [Salv] = 802-935 @ 26 : 145-172 * 4.6 * 1.6 = 1067-1266 Is 265-331 dmg added. [Res Fire = 20, Salv = 10 - for simplicity and non-full build] Aura would increase from @ 20 : 18-21 -> 132-155 @ 26 : 24-27 -> 177-199 Would that be worth it, together with the (physical) damage boosted by Charge ? __ Could always have him go Ranger and use a Demonmachine or so for the explosive arrows, but this idea just tickled me.
