Well its this or im gone!!!!!

Well guys this is it, Im tired of playing diablo II!!!!!!!!! So im gonna give it one last try with a Summoner Necro..... I have pretty good gear just no &^%* wpns or shield... here is the armor available to me as of right now...

Helm- P topaz shako
Armor- 1.3k Archon Enigma
Rings- SoJ's
Gloves- Frostburns for the Mana

LOL!
Its not much, here is what I need

Wpn- White wand
shield- Homonculus
Belt- ??????
Boots- Marrowalks
Ammy- Mara, or +3 summon skills ammy


SO can u guys tell me the price range of what i stated there????? and a suggestion for belts????????

P.S. BTW if this dosent work out and i will find out in about 2 days i will be giving away a HUGE! US WEST NON LADDER SOFTCORE GIVEAWAY....... but who knows maybe ill become addicted again???

I would suggest Arachnid's Mesh for a +skill, mana, and faster cast, otherwise I would say go for Trang's set and screw the Enigma and Shako. :thumbsup:

I would make a psn/summon hybrid necro.. using trang set and Arm of King leoric... I have made one using that setup and he did fairly well... there wasn't anything he couldnt kill... btw use a might merc.

My psn summon necro did good in duels too... i also used him to tank the hardest trio of enemies... the Ancients in hell mode... he owned them in players 8 when everyone else kept dying they called me in and i tore them up. :thumbsup:

My skill placement was

Psn nova-max
Skellies-max
Skelly mast-max
Psn explosion(dagger)-max
get lower resist and put the rest of the points into the other psn synergy

Sick of D2? I see you must be playing, as you put it, in soft core non-ladder. Might I suggest a touch of Hard Core perhaps? Maybe you have already ventured into that realm already and if so, happy trails to you if you do decide to leave. Otherwise, why not give it a shot, its not like you are actually paying good money per character or for "by the month" play privilages.

I have to disagree with the hardcore thing. Losing a month's worth of work, or even more, due to a lag spike or a moment of inattention is not something I'd look forward to. Good luck with the necro, though. :)

Lose a month's work? That might make sense if your time was valuable. You should most likely only be spending time playing D2 that you don't mind killing anyway. D2 is a waste of time, wheather you lose your character or not. That is why you won't be losing much for at least trying, just free time anyway.
I have to admit, before I hit up hard core I was worried too, "How can anyone make it to act 4 witout dying at least once?". As it turned out, not me. Not for several tries. I found that if I did not die the same way twice, I ran out of ways to die and things got stable.
I suggested hard core for a change of pace. The enviornment is quite different, which you can soon see with PKers. When the hostile alarm goes off, people pay attention. Those who are caught go back to start, and those good enough to fight a PKer off get rid of him for good. The economey is also very different but you could have guessed that, as whatever you have equiped tends to be deleted along with your character upon death.

Want More Fun?

Start naked and untwinked in hardcore, from level 1. No rushing, turbo or runs. Just play the whole game through, using only the gear the monsters give you (over their dead bodies).

I just think there's too much risk for too little reward, I was actually reading forum posts from veteran players bragging that they like to PK others in hardcore by pretending to help, catching them by surprise, townkilling etc... This on top of the lag and other accidents just don't make it worthwhile for me. But everyone has different tastes I guess :)
