Weird dream (warning: long text)

I had this really bizarre dream this night. It was a mix of Diablo II (I often dream of the game and its items like the addict I am) and the book "Omnibus 1: At the mountains of madness" by H.P. Lovecraft, which I am reading at the moment.
Here's the dream then:
I was in a channel on bnet with a name like "awedfhiqwefhwei" or something like that with my paladin. Suddenly someone else joined that channel and killed my pala (yes, in the channel). My pala dropped all his items, but I managed to pick up everything but my upgraded Skullder's ire (I have a pala irl and he's wearing this armor irl), which this kid stole. I went very mad, far more mad than I'd be irl. The kid left the channel and the hunt was on...
I started the car and begun driving towards the kids house (don't know how I could have the knowledge of where he lived). There's a problem, though. I live in Sweden and the kid in the US and we've got the whole Pacific ocean between us. But by some loophole or something I managed to drive up in front of his and his parent's house in a couple of hours. I sneaked in through an open window and there he was, the kid, asleep in his bed. The first thing I did was too knock him unconscious, put him over my shoulder and carry him out into the snow. I digged him a hole and put him in there together with a note saying something about a person named Lake (who is a character in "Mountains of madness"). After that I walked inside the house again, hearing the kid yell from under the snow: "Who is Lake?", "Who is Lake?".
After a while I heard some noise from the basement of the house and went down to see what it was. Down there were the kid and his sister. I started yelling at the kid, asking him why he stole my armor and telling him that I wanted it back. He told me that he had used Kazaa, and that it was "totally legit". He also told me that he couldn't give the armor back, as he had turned it into a helmet. Instead he offered me another armor: Immortal King's armor. I accepted and he gave me the armor (which was an irl one packed in a box and everything). The problem was that the armor was far too small for me, but I agreed to "trade" anyway and put it into the car and took the "loophole road" home again. When I got home I logged into bnet and saw that the pala had got rolled back, and was once again wearing Skullder's. So i sent the IK-armor to the kid together with a note explaining about the roll back.
And after that I woke up in my bed, asking myself if the weird things I'd just dreamt were true or not. After a few minutes I realized it was all a dream, and I was glad it was - cause I would never have sent the armor back irl...

I remember someone saying they had a dream about a hacker coming into their room and duping their tv. Good times, good times.

Dude, what kind of drugs are you on? And where can I get some?
:) I use no drugs at all, but lack of sleep combined with 8+ hours of Diablo II-playing and a couple of hours of reading mr Lovecraft's strange and bizarre stories seem to give this result.

Man, I love this forum. People can share their weirdest dreams about a computer game and not be flamed for it. What a great site. Now, have a bear and calm down :drink: You're among friends :D

Don't worry, Fearox, I understand. I'm a Lovecraft fan too. :)

I keep trying to name a Necromancer for one of his famous creations, but the names of the Great Old Ones seem to be very popular.

I was expecting comments like "Time to get a life", "Time to quit playing" and "What's the point telling a silly dream?". I usually get that kind of comments from my parents and other people who cannot imagine nor understand the beauty of my way of life. But hey, I don't get the idea about their lives either. Horror and games (and music) are the spices of a good life :)
And yes, this is a great site. Thanks for the beer man, and cheers to you too.
:drink:

I've only one thing to say about all of this:

"Tekeli-li! Tekeli-li!"

One more thing: Don't take shrooms just before reading "The Colour Out of Space". Bad ju-ju. :stoned:
