Hello I`m new to Paladin and would like to know why fleshripper aint considered as a good weapon for charger / smiter

One-Hand Damage: (45-60) To (174-228) (108-144 Avg)
Required Level: 68
Required Strength: 42
Required Dexterity: 86
Durability: 36
Base Weapon Speed: [-20]
+200-300% Enhanced Damage (varies)
-50% Target Defense
25% Chance of Crushing Blow
33% Deadly Strike
50% Chance of Open Wounds
Prevent Monster Heal
Slows Target By 20%

Is it becouse of there is no ias on it?
Or are there any other reasons?

Some people think that if it's not BotD, Enigma or Shako then it's crap. Also if you don't hit 4fpa then you suck. I don't believe this, but most people seem to.

EDIT:

Team that up with Gore Riders, Duress, Highlords and Guillamume Face and you'd have:

Crushing Blow 90%
Deadly Strike 66%-100%
Open Wounds 93%
Prevent Monster Healing
Slows Target 20%

That would be cool.

It would be an awesome smiter weapon. Just keep in mind that it only has a range of 1 whereas most of your opponents will have 2 or 3.

Yes, range and slow both work with smite.

Since it does work with smite I would not be telling people to use it in a duel. Slow is cheap even from some one like me.

So its only the range , but still this weapon is faster than 4ex. ba and its easier to reach 6 fps with smite using flashripper.

btw deas range is so important?

I saw what you think of flashripper as a smiter weapon how agout charger?

Slow has been nerfed in pvp anyway (well no more perma slow at least)

But I saw a charge/zeal/smite pally that was just massacuring everyone in a melee only game with eth zod fleshripper. He was taking people like 3 on 1 because they were all teaming him(eth exile zod glitched eth valor with ber zod glitched gaze with ber) couldn't even touch his *** lol. Most had ebotds and stuff, sexiest thing I've EVER seen(in a game).
