weapon for frenzy ..

okay i started making a frenzy but wasnt too sure waht weapons to use ..
i was thinking ebotd berzerker axe and beast berzerker axe .. but saw the damage on the beast wasnt as high as the ebotd ..
so would two ebotd kill much faster in pvm then ebotd / beast .. ?

I went with shael'd Stormlash for the static, absorb and elemental damage and use a Azurewrath in the other hand. This is in HC and I'm pleased with the killing speed.

Of course the displayed damage for the 'beast' hand won't be as high as the displayed damage for the 'ebotd' hand. The weapon has less damage.

Displayed damage is not really that big of a deal.. my max damage on my frenzy barb's character screen is something around 1500 max, for each hand. But my killing speed is staggering with 2 Azure's... nothing is immune to me, and I can actually hit something once while under IM and not die.

mods (such as the fanat on beast) are just as important as seeing a big ego inflating number on your lying character screen.

well, you can attack display damage and all, but don't forget to answer the damn question, beast is probably unnecessary since you shouldn't have a whole lot of trouble getting to max speed or atleast getting close enough that the big dmg of the weapon makes up for half a frame, but fanaticism will get you there for sure

all in all, I find huge dmg to be less important for PvM as squiggi was saying, I get by just fine with 2100/1500 dmg max from my 2 weaps so I wouldn't blow the bank on a PvM frenzy barb is all, it can be done very well without EBOTDs

and yes. dual ebotd's is really not necessary for a decent killing speed; however, they do make up some of the fastest killing you can get. and (whoever said it) was right -- the bonus from fanaticism, as far as frenzy goes, is pretty negligible.
