I guess it's not the fastest way to do it, but with a Hammerdin, couldn't you hit him with a smite or two while using a weapon that prevents monster heal, and then go about your business with blessed hammers? Seems like that would solve the DClone regeneration issue. Not sure if anyone has tried this, but if they have please let me know how it worked out.

Wasn't there a server side patch so that trick doesn't work anymore ??
My triple aura paladin (Exile and Doom) beat him in 10 minutes or so in a 4-player game. I got some "help" from a sorc, but since there was no conviction or lower resist present, I dont think it made much of a difference...

The most efficient team I've been involved in for killing DClone was me on my old avenger (max conv), and him on my Meteor/FB sorc... we took him down pretty quick... minute or 2 tops. Our merc's didn't make it though. :lol:

Have no fear, you too can kill d clone with crappy gear. I did, and in 20 seconds no less. Try a straight smiter, mines level 74, equip is:
Blackthorns mask: one hit for PMH then switch on Guillame's Face 35CB, Goblin Toe boots 25CB, Lacerator for amp (godly), if yer poor use a crushflange for more CB and fire resist, Nokozan Relic, one plain lightning resist ring (can substitute out for anything else one wants), one Dwarf star, Tgods belt (can substitute hwanins for PMH if u dont have blackthorns), Laying of Hands gloves (godly 350%ed to demons), and for shield I recommend Grizwold's with 3 P diamonds because its cheap and will max your resist in a hurry. This gives you a character perfectly built for killing d clone fast (or any boss type monster) and is extremely inexpensive. Sorry if I'm repeating parts of what any others said, but it works great! :winner:
