razor edge is not ladder only. Another option is an upped headstriker. I have much experience with all three weapons that i mentioned and they all handle pvm relatively good.
If you are going strictly pvm only, i recommend azurewrath. Azurewrath just destroys any monsters because of it's massive cold + magical damage. There should be quite a lot of azurewraths in nl now from season 1 but i am not sure if it's expensive or not...
