War Traveler vs. Sandstorm Trek / Waterwalks

Many guides I've noticed over the past few months have reccomended War Travelers as the end-game boots for the Sorceress. I'm assuming it's simply because of the MF% as the other boots top pretty much every other category when compared to these, but perhaps I'm missing something. :scratch:

I'll count that as a suggestion for MF aswell. Wartravellers do add nice Vitality and Strength and FRW for those Sorcs that run around mroe than Teleport.

Otherwise my favorite boots will be:

Waterwalk
or even better
Rare MF boots with FRW and +2/+3 different resists, plus MF. These are some of the best boots you can acutally get.

Sandstorm Trek are another nice choice. Even better in terms of protection than Wartravellers. Strentgh requirement is rather high though.

Silkweave are rather nice too.

Don't make the mistake of setting your sights on unique boots like so many players do. They suck (except Gore Riders and the Marrowwalk bug -- as a sorc you don't need these). Aldur's boots are better than any unique, but you should always grab every rare boot you see - this is where endgame boots will come from.

You can also add Natalyas boots to that.

if u need mf -> rare boots with frw/res/stats/mf or wt's
if u need stats/life -> rare boots with frw/res/stats or waterwalks
if u need fhr -> rare boots with frw/fhr/res/stats or sandstorms

thats about it i think, with rares u can get better stats but also higher price & higher chance of being dupes

Definitely! I always got called newbie when I showed them I was using Natalyas on a sorc.

I used natalya for a while on my now dead 94 windy! Gottta love it!
