Vindicator/Saviour Vs pure smiter

does the V/S have a chance against pure smite? cause there are alot out there.

The only real difference between pure smiter and V/S is that the smiter has higher defense because of investing in defiance (passive def bonus to holy shield). This is totally irrelevant in smite duels. It is essentially a smite vs smite duel, no difference.
