Vindicator/Cleric/Crusader

I think alot of D2 classes are coming back, just in different forms with minor changes that will make the classes better than the D2 classes. obviously Sorc=Wizard Barbarian=Barbarian Witch Doctor=Necro/Druid

What makes you think that there won't be a holy warrior in D3. If there is one (Which I am positive there will be), there will be a defensive skills (auras, etc), Offensive skills(Charge, smite, etc), and caster skills (Like a hammerdin, holy bolts, just casting holy stuff), and honestly I think they are going to make the spells where they heal the party VERY LITTLE for what they hit for if you go caster.

IF there is this holy warrior that I'm speaking about I think the choices for the names should be, Vindicator, Cleric, Crusader. Perhaps Knight...not sure.

Give me your ideas and what you think.

Perhaps there would be no holy warrior as well, who knows, maybe just a knight who is just about killing stuff quick (Life Steal, AoE skills, AoE heal on hit, Sword Mastery, etc).

If the archivist class is real in the game (which I doubt), my guess would be the next class to be an archer-type. If not, then I bet on a knight-type to be one of the two remaining.

To my opinion, holy skills were just a mess. The hammerdin was too overpowered. Blessed hammer was the only true holy spell you would use in the game, as others weren't killing at all once you hit higher level, and I don't consider smite and holy shield to be much of holy techniques, they could have just been non-holy, and would still fit in the game.

That doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the concept, just the execution.

In my mind the question for Diablo III is if there is a place for a holy warrior at all, or if Blizzard is pointing the franchise towards the realm of universal moral ambiguity.

If archi is real then there probably won't be an archer that would make 4 rdps, light-medium armored classes.. and 1 barb.

They probably will make a paladin just to even the class types out.

I hope they add more story line in game...

D2 was just do 5 missions and kill an act boss. Pretty repetitive.. sure if you took the time to read the background info online it would be fine, but it's not integrated into the game as much as I expected.

it´s quite a nice idea ut i wish the holy class to be more physic and not providing as much auras and buffs as in d2...and no caster! Meleedude

I personally think that they probably wont release a "Holy" type class when D3 comes out, I think they will just bring back the pally in the D3 expansions, which blizzard said they might bring back some old classes in the expansions packs, and seeing as how the pally and amazon are so popular, I can see them coming back.

Also there will never be any type of cleric, even though I find it would be cool to have a healer type, Its just not diablo, diablo has always been about complete oblideration of the enemy and a healer dosent play into that, with the new orb system plus pots in the inventory there wont be a need for a healer im afraid
