Viable anarchy
Alright, aimed mostly to PotHead because we didn't want to keep hijacking the Canadian law thread but all are welcome. Talking about the viability of Anarchy.
This line is a rough summary so far: discussing how to keep things from getting into the powers of a few.
Individual strength I doubt is very important if they had guns, which they almost certainly would. If they didn't it'd be screwed, the country I mean, so I'll assume they do. In this situation I believe someone will eventually say "hey, I'd be safer if I had people watching my back, and I'll watch theirs in exchange for loyalty". Hence, mob rule is born. But what about not being able to do forensics and find out who did it? It's not really that relevant. Even if someone does get away with killing one of you guys if someone somewhere, preferrably several of people, pay dearly for the death suddenly most people don't want to mess with you. This could easily include the original assasin because he'll be worried about getting caught next time. Or they band together to fight back against that mob and well, same threat to anarchy really.
So that's what I think, what do you think?
