    hi all!

Just curious as to why all the streamers on twitch seem to use version 1.13?
Also, can you play with people with different versions? Do the bnet servers show games just with your current patch?

Thx a lot! Just got back from a 10 year break and I feel kinda lost with all that!

Also what's the deal with all the private servers? Looks like the community is all over the place.

On Bnet, you have to use the latest version. They use 1.13 as 1.14 haven't brought anything new to the game except solving compatibility issues. Never played on D2 private servers. They're probably more or less like open battle.net but I don't know.

You're welcome :) Also, if you want to play with someone you know why not try open bnet / tcp ip ?

Excuse my ignorance but how would that work? Is it just normal bnet but I can privately play with a friend if I know is IP address?

IDK really, tcp ip needs your friend IP address. It's safe. On open bned you might encounter hackers. Never used any of these functions so I can't help more.
