Venom, BoS, Fade......

I just read that Venom, BoS, Fade can not be active together.... What does that mean?

If im going to max Venom I have to leave it on and can't use BoS or Fade?
or do you "cast" venom then switch to BoS and you still have venom?

You cannot have BoS and Fade active at the same time. Venom works fine with either of them.
