and as everyone knows, heat denaturalizes proteins (and fragments of those)

so if you heat it enough, BSE will be eliminated

of course you'll also eliminate a high percentage of the nutrition your attaining with the beef/extremely hot brownish liquid

Really? Last I heard the cows remains were a contamination risk even after they cremated the body, if the ash from the smoke from the remains landed in grass that other cows ate they could then also be infected.

alright, maybe our conventional amounts of heat don't suffice for these protein structures, then

... there should be a way to destroy them, though, eliminating this threat for its surroundings, even if it's using waves with ultra-short wavelengths/coherent structure or proteins that are structured to neutralize through the key-and-lock principle...

of course now we aren't talking about food anymore, but rather about how to eliminate a threat coming from dead cow remains..

seriously... i found it kind of questionable, when they sent canfuls of beef with BSE-potential to donate to african children with the slogan: they need food, we need dump
