V/t more smite or more foh

if im limited to lvl 85 in dueling is it better to Sink more points into Smite related or Foh related skill points? I dont plan on dueling other fohers.
The guide calls for maxing fanat HS and SMite but this costs.
Current skill alocation looks like

Max Smite Fanat HS
17 foh
8 Holy lightning
lvl 1 Conviction.

is this enuff Foh dmg to be effective?

I'm also looking into this for anyone who could help - right now I'm leaning more towards FOH dmg because if you can get a good smitelock, the dmg gains from more points into smite aren't that dramtatic, are they?

you get some decent damage gains, but it really depends on who you duel. If more pal vs. pal, then max smite is best, but if more pal vs. all, then an even distribution, or more foh is probably better. In the case of foh, I would say slightly even distribution of foh/holy shock or just ever so slightly higher holy shock (like 15/16 or something). You get more damage that way.

true. however, more smite means you gotta catch them first. fine and dandy if you are dueling someone who will come do you. However, most ranged in pal vs. all aren't that dumb, and you need a stronger ranged attack to get away with it. in my case, I truly hybridized and did even points both, really. I have a 3.4k foh, level 25 conviction, and a 2.4k smite. Its the rare dueler I can't give royal hell too in pal vs. all, but pal vs pal is more limited, as I need a different gear setup for that.
