USEAST- reason for lag?

Is this incredible lag on East because of the new rust storm? I'm scared to continue doing cow runs with my friend because of the immense lag. That is, when it actually allows me to make a game.

Heh i think that is the reason why i was getting such massive lag on ladder west wednesday night. It would be a smooth connection for a few seconds and then my cable connection would just stall for a few seconds and then back to normal. I know it wasn't my cable modem because internet explorer responded promptly every time to any websites. I guess that night was when the rune poofing started on USwest (where i play).

I was on a few minutes ago ...lag was so bad I had to get off. Ping was around 3000.

I just hopped on and I'm getting 80-100 ping. A little laggy but nothing comapred to 3000. Have you tried resetting your modem?

I got off for a while and surfed, rebooted. Pings around 80-110 now

I lost an upgraded Shaft and un-id Homunculus yesterday during self mule. The game crashed so I couldn't rejoin.

Today I lost an IST rune during self mule. Battle.net temp banned immediately I dropped the rune and exited and I couldn't get on for 5 minutes.

These were the only times I have ever items from Battle.net. It's just disheartening. I am rather upset even now posting this up.

Nah, getting to 50k is easy with a broad band connection etc, but at 50k ping your d2 will crash unless you know how to play with the os of bnet right
=p.

Nay there is no lession to be learned, it was in the hand of fate. I have done everything humanly possible to avoid this kind of issues.

I'd rather have Battle.net collect my gains than some "friend".

Actually Frenzy, check out the East Trade forum I may need to trade for an Anni.

That's what I like about these forums. I've found several trustworthy people, just making trades. It's nice to know that you can arrange a trade, enter game, drop stuff, get other char, come back, and the other person will still be there waiting for you. I agree it's hard to come by a "friend" on b-net, but you should have more luck finding one here. If it's east non-ladder, and I'm on, I'll help anyone mule. *distancepieman
