UsEast op diabloii.net baals?

How many people run private baals with forumgoers? If anyone is interested in setting up some baalruns sometime then say so here or the channel

note i am a UK resident so times will obviously be different :azn:

ditto. i'm nearly always there. if i've not got other things going i baal and/or chaos out of there. we used to do it nightly but the regulars have been doing other things more often.

when we do does everyone know the drop rules? getting that down ahead of time is a good idea. here's the original rules by CP (hmm i think he edited them out of that post plus there's no bot any more). here's the rules we've been using for drops:

- minion and baal drops go to whose turn it is unless they state clearly they dont want it. if they decline drops it goes to next person in line. you cant say you dont want drops then want them when something good drops.
- gems go to the drop person (a lot of people dont bother, if they say they dont want them it's free game)
- if it's not your turn dont pick up stuff and do not ID other peoples things unless they ask you to
- if you kill a non minion prior to the first wave alone you get the drop
- if more than one person kill a non minion prior to the first wave drop goes to the person whose turn it is
- pots and gold are for everyone, pick them up so everyone can see easier. juves go to the teleporter if they need them.
- turns are based on character name and go by alphabetical as they appear at the top of the screen or in the player window. capital letter A-Z then lower a-z
- if someone comes in during the middle of a group of runs they are placed in the correct place in the drop order. that means if they happened to join as they would get a turn they get their turn. if they come in right after it would have been their turn (based on the last person's turn) they have to wait untill the next time around.
- violating these rules was when CP started the channel case for a ban (if sufficient witness support was given), but since he's taken the rules out i dont know that i can gurantee that. if you violate the rules in my company i'll be sure to pm him and to at the very least ban you from participating in runs in the future (at least ones im a part of).

if you want to mf somewhere or do chaos when we do baal that's fine but if the game is full and someone wants in you're obligated to give up your spot. ofc when you mf other places you get all the drops. most of the people have baaled with us with very few problems. one person usually keeps track of whose turn it is so we dont get confused.

we have been known to do top two (or 3) when doing baal but usually these runs are for xp for lower levels and/or to hang out and get a few drops so it doesnt happen often. if you want to top and are of a high enough level to warrent it, bring it up to everyone. i'm sure no one would have a problem doing it since we all know how much a pain it is to lvl past 93.

when we chaos it's easier. drops go to the person doing the work.

I'm interested in this also. I tend to do uber lvling to 92, but past that I need to do Baal runs. I usually hang out in the channel.

Just so you know, when I run, I run for the experience. I could care less about the drops. Also, if an mfer dies while I'm running I wont help them retrieve their body. One other thing is I rarely do runs without level restrictions on, and then it's only for a few of my friends if they need it. Runs are usually 85+ at the very lowest, but I prefer 90+ or 92+ depending on the level of the character I'm using. I DO NOT do top2 runs, period.

Come to think of it, I'm better off running from my own channel. I have a few other things to add to my previous statements, but I'm going to assume most wouldn't want to follow them while I'm running anyway. If you happen to join my runs while I'm running, great...if not, oh well. I'm not about to go out of my way for a anyone that would try to cause problems.

~Edit~
On second thought, maybe I shouldn't bother with this and just run as I usually do.
