Okay guys, I think I'm going to wipe my friends list and add this whole list to it... that way, if the two-game thing ever happens, we can keep constant contact... I have a mic and headset but have never used Ventrilo - I should learn though, it's going to be a requirement for a clan I'm trying to join in Counter-Strike: Source. if KillerRS could help me through that eventually it would be much appreciated.
However, I don't feel too bad about splitting a group up 2 ways, because experience maxes out at 6 players. Just make sure we keep the group atmosphere going!!!!
All right! Let's talk strategy. Bubble, I think a fishymancer would be more helpful than a meteorber, but if that's what you want for post-ladder-climb, then you're free to make a meteorber. For now, though, I'll put you down as a fishymancer.
Close Combat:
Hammerdin (me)
Hammerdin (magicfind)
Summoner (Fuzzy)
Fishymancer (Bubble)
Werebear (deity)
WW Barb (Grlitz)
Range/Casters:
Meteorb (Xanph)
Blizzer (Phae)
Light sorc (jnheart)
Blizzer (KillerRS)
Bowazon (gyes)
Light sorc (Dano)
Bonemancer (Ripee)
Bowazon** (my rl friend, RSuddenly on forums, new joiner)
Well that leaves us with 6 melee chars and or 8 ranged chars. I'd say breaking up the melee chars so 1 hammerdin to each group, 1 summoner to each, then werebear and barb split. I'm kinda sad only one group will get bo, but *shrug* .
Casters can split: 1 blizzer to each party, one light sorc to each party, one bowazon to each party, meteorb and bonemancer split. The group without the meteorber will have no fire ele damage present - kinda weird

. MAYBE - just putting this out - the werebear could go fire claws? It's up to your preference.
So, a sample draft of the teams (team captains in bold):
Team 1:
1. Hammerdin (
me)
2. Summoner (Fuzzy)
3. WW Barb (Grlitz)
4. Blizzer (KillerRS)
5. Light sorc (jnheart)
6. Bonemancer (Ripee)
7. Bowazon** (my rl friend, RSuddenly on forums, new joiner)
Team 2:
1. Hammerdin (magicfind)
2. Fishymancer (Bubble)
3. Werebear (deity)
4. Blizzer (
Phae)
5. Meteorb (Xanph)
6. Light sorc (Dano)
7. Bowazon (gyes)
With this said, the two teams would be closely linked, and if few players were on, we can combine games. Phae and I will be constantly hopping between games to check on item distribution, characters, progress, etc.
Here's an idea I thought was good... what if Team 1 made origami1///1 and made only odd-numbered games from there? origami3///3, origami5///5... and Team 2 made origami2///2, and made only even-numbered games from there, i.e. origami4///4, origami6///6...
That would keep everyone happy, prevent stepping on the other group's toes, and help with organization.
Anyone have any problems with my drafted teams? Feel free to change them - I just tried to balance them (not hard because they're practically identical). How about the game-name idea?
