hey guys im workin atm, but it seems liek were gettin quite a good gropu going :) wihch wil be nice, since not all of us will be on at the same time, so we wil need quite a few haha, but tonight im going to take my topic here and killerRS's and jsut make a whole list of where were at in people, and jsut put eveyrones account name an char name and what type of char there makin, just so its all easy to read and it wil be easy for everyone to add eachother ingame that way, cya!

and ty CallMeTheSpelunker for doin this list, i was goign to do it tonight but now theres no need, way to take action :), anyways i think what KillerRS was saying was he was doing some sort of sorc, dunno what type, then makign a hdin, when he gets gear thorugh mf'ing. ( we wil probally end up having to glitch this hdain later on) but no probs , also i think he also mentioned his friend wanting to play, so ill put his name on the list and let KillerRS or his friend Dano put dano's info down.

I added my name to the list, that is if you are still looking for more to join. Being thinking about what character I am going to play and decided I will go with a bonemacer. I'll be on the day of the reset and play for quite a bit (with breaks for food and restroom ofcourse).

Anyways, okay, we have 11 players, maybe 12 if my rl friend joins in... doubt he will though, he's a big Might and Magic player. Myself, I will have to break for a bit to study for a physics exam I have 1pm EST on Tuesday.

All right! So, for the game name, I was thinking, and: forget the idea of "origami". Too hard to spell for too many people (that's pathetic but hey, c'est la vie). We should choose an easy to spell name that's not too common, maybe dogfood1///1 or shortcake1///1 or crossword1///1. Notice that they're all compound words - it's smart :brainiac: .

Note that I changed my account to Batman_360. I was contemplating making a new account just for this new ladder, but I decided to give away all my stuff on my javazon, trapsin, necros, blizzer and chantress, keeping only my hammerdin suited up for nl. He'll be stuffed with cv insights and forts though :p so I have a little bit of net worth on nl lol. Long story short: I'll be playing on 360.

Phae, firebolt sorcs aren't too viable, the most that attack does is 760 or so with maxed synergies and twinked gear. It may be fun through norm, but it will suck for NM and Hell, and won't serve you well in the future (post-ladder-reset). Currently we have no Zons, Assassins or Druids - out of their potential builds, I would recommend a strafer, phoenix striker or werebear, respectively. Phoenix Strike has no immunes - it's very very fun to play too, and it can solo hell and stuff. Strafers would be very versatile for applying an effect to a large group - say, psn damage (yay emeralds). This comment applies to Dano too, and your RL friend, and killerRS.

I'm on frequently, so it's good I'm the hammerdin - I can rush anyone anytime. I rush quickly.

Maybe we should choose a team leader or two? Like a leader and deputy? If leader's not there then the deputy takes over? It would help with item distribution. If no one's chomping at the bit for the spot, I'll gladly do it, I lead expeditions all the time. And I can solve a Rubik's cube in 4 minutes, if that's qualification enough lol.

I don't think origami is hard to spell and would make a good game name. I mean how many people would use that as a name?

As for a team leader. I am the new guy to the group (though I think we are all new to each other) and don't know who knows this from that. My guess would be that is up to everyone else. I don't really care who leads as long as they aren't buttheads :grin:

lol, sounds good CallMeTheSpelunker , i think i might qualify as well, ive killed diablo clone 8 times, done solo ubers 15 times ( w/o dieing ever , except for the first one >.<), had a 94 orb sorc, 93 hdin, 89 smiterdin ( uber destroyer ) , 91 trap asin, 90 mule blizz sorc, and a 86 wind dru. but truthfully, i havtn played in over a year, and i found out the ladder was resetting i knew i had to get back into it, anyways i have the updated list of ppl as well, and btw, origami is a good one to me :)

Once the time is released on the reset tomorrow, how are we going to organize? I know we can just put everyone on our friends list but do we plan to set-up an ingame channel? Also are we going to use Vent right from the start as well? How are we going to handle it if we have more then 8 people on at a time?

Sorry to be a pain but just curious :grin:

yea ive been thinking about the same things Ripee,i think the in game channel is a great idea, and im gogin to go through tomorrow and addin yall to my flist, and i bet there WILL be more than 8 people on tomorrow at one time and probally for the next few weeks or so, i was thinking maybe we slip up into a fair even group, like i was also noticing we have ALOT of sorc's and necromancers, so splitting those up into two groups would help them get the best gear asap, i dunno, its w/e you guys think though, le tme know! also like a ingame channel.. maybe somthin liek dii.et or somthin, i dunno, really, voice your opinion haha, im sure someone can come up with a better one than that lol

That's what I was thinking as well Cd. We should go ahead and get a channel together aswell as a game name if we can. That way when we hit the reset we are ready to go and know where to meet. I think we should also go ahead and assign two team leaders. I have no problem with CallMeTheSpelunker and Phae both being the team leaders. If they aren't on when others are we can just assign a temp leader to keep the game flowing and on the objectives.

Just my opinions :thumbsup:

im starting with a blizz sorc but when i get the gear im making a hdin.

dano is making a light sorc. Sorc is the way to go at the beginning of the season.
