Okay, I just uploaded the pdf version of the guide. :clap: I think it turned out rather pretty, but I did have to do a little reformatting.

Click here for pdf version. Edit: you have to right-click on it and "save target as"... for some reason it won't display in a browser window... I'll figure it out tomorrow.

and here's that link for the Excel version again (which includes all math).

Amazing piece of work. Well done.

I've yet to find an Ist or better. I have about 300-350 runes in my stash and if the odds are .001589, then it takes 629.33 rune drops to get a goody! All I want is an Ist or 4 :rant: .

Thanks again for the incredible amount of info (loved the chest info!)

Urlik_Skarsol -- I missed that last page with the cubing. It looks very familar oh thats right I have a copy of it for the Rune Race calcs. You did miss a 3 els per eld on it but thats an oversight that every knows or should know anyways.

300,000,000+ gems of different types thats a crazy sum thats more of a problem getting then the 14 * 10^15 els needed for cubing.

Again very nice work.

Thanks AlterEgo :) You have my consent. Glad to share the info.

Also, be advised that I am in the process of revising the section on "Chests" as I have recently learned the finer details of their actual drop mechanics from a post by Jarulf at Lurker's Lounge. Super-chests are quite a bit more complicated than I originally thought and I am working on the drop chance calcs for runes from them right now. I'll be posting version 1.1 of the guide with these updates by the end of the week. I also hope to add more statistics on area counts by then and some other metrics.

Maybe it's just my comps but i've tried it on two computers and the links (pdf excel etc.) won't work on any of my computers. I really want to look at this. It says it doesn't exist or something.
