Thing krischan mentions is also useful, but beer in mind that if you try this on some 45resist cracked pala shield, you'll roll the perfect resist away. With ilvl 1, only the lowest of automods are available.

The formula does work for crude & cracked too...

I'll give a link to the sockets list in a second.


Edit:

ilvl1 Sacred Targe = 3 maximum sockets, but if you don't use the recipe and decide to keep it at 'crude', it can have up to 4 sockets.

I'm almost certain all paladin shields can have 4os regardless of item level.
