Im wondering if this is possible.

I play HC. I want to make a paladin using holy freeze aura.
Does holy freeze provide enough damage?
he will be untwinked for the most part.
Am i better off making a shock build?

I have seen some freeze builds.. but they are all old.. (that one was from 1.10)

I guess what I'm asking is if I would be able to take it up to hell baal.

Great read. i will make a freeze paladin and just see how far i can take him.

For the most part, 1.10 is the same as 1.12. Nothing big changed in PvM.

Yes, a untwinked Freezealot can take Hell Baal. He isn't exactly fast, but he is safe. A Teslafroster is a bit more versatile, but has less AR and lower level Holy Shield. Best of luck.

While I can't doubt the freezealot making it to hell baal, I'm currently working on an untwinked teslafroster and it is, as doctor clock mentioned, very versatile. I really have no problem what so ever even in hell now. The less AR can usually be balanced with Angelics and other items (All I need is an Um to make a Crescent moon, makes me made that I've already found a Mal).
