So I decided to not be lazy any more and make a new ladder char. I thought I would give a trapsin a chance. I am now lvl 69 and have like NO eq. Someone was gracious enough to give me two +3 to traps claws so I am almost fully synergized and doing around 4k damage yet am having serious problems MFing. I am trying to get some ptopazs to put into a helm and armor so I have something more than 30 mf. Is this the wrong build for untwinked mfing? Should I go to bliz sorc or something? I love sins and would like to make a warrior-monk, but don't have near the resources to do it and need a character to find things.

A blizz sorc wouldn't be a bad idea, without an enigma trap sins are slow mfers. I love sins but started this season with a blizz sorc, It's helped me get the gear I need for my trapper and a kick sin I'm currently playing.

What is your build? Sentry-fireblast trappers should be able to magic find anywheres in PTopazed equipment if played right.

Do some cow runs in NM. Just don't have your shadow out and don't lay down death sentry unless you know you aren't close to the king. That should get you some gems fairly quickly.

Mind blast and Cloak of shadows is your friend.

Oh, run Hell arcane sanctuary and hell countess too. Easy keys and gems while you are building up your equipment.
