Would anyone enjoy 8 skelemancers with maxed revives, mages, and skeles?
We had a group like this back in the GAT days. We called it The Lagmancers. Back then I was playing on an old machine and yes, it did lag me terribly. Down to a coouple frames per second. We never continued on past Normal.

I think a few Baal runs would be acceptable if we're not mid fourties by the time we kill Baal. We haven't been doing scorched earth and going to all the areas, so a little overlap is alright with me.

IMO, Baal runs would really ruin the beginning of Act I NM. Even after gaining a couple of levels it'd seem akward breezing past the Den of Evil and maybe even Blood Raven. I agree with Golden Arches, it is just like doing mf runs. And, I think it would be cool for our team to seem, somewhat, real. With the acual dying thing and the boss' one life, it would make it realistic... life-wise.

As far as forges go, I have two opinions. I think we should not do them separately because it could kill someone. I know that the chances are slim, but never take chances in hc :wink3: . Doing one forge would force us to work as a team to figure out who gets what. My second opinion tells me that doing the forges separately will endanger our lives a bit, and it would prevent fights (but we're a friendly group, don't see any fights so far...).

To sum it up, I think no to Baal runs and keep the forge singular. But, whatever makes the group happy will suit me  .

Hmmm.... How about this? We bypass the Hellforge, get to play more on Sunday, and when we are much stronger we can solo our hellforges when dieing would be nigh impossible.

Using this strategy we would 1) Get the most of our Hellforge 2) Get the most of survival ratings outside of doing it all together 3) Save time.

Meh, the mages were never really a problem, just wanted to see where I could go with an argument against skellymancers, not really because they lag me (They almost never do) but more because I think fishymancers are pretty boring. Lord Of Magi is a better build, but is great is crossed with another build (like the jailkeeper). Of course the front line general (commandomancer) is the best, because you still get to be a meleemancer, which are pretty cool.

Kind of what I just said about forges

Yea commandomancer woulda been very fun, but I decided to stick with LOM.

Awhh. I bet you still have time to come to the darkside.... Of course, the disadvantage there is, unless you have a good deal of elemental damage, that you and you mages do not share a curse...

And yes, I wanted to show my sign of approval and present the idea in my own words.

Also, I agree with necro. Most players suggest a level of 45+ before Nightmare. However we are in the unique situation of having a group which gets bonus experience and which covers each others flaws, thus rendering this 'need' to level less significant. That's all not to mention that Act 1 is going to be very boring and we'll just fly through.

Yea commandomancer would only be good with skellies ya.

Yea leveling will more than likely not be necessary as we are getting awesome exp atm and as arches said it's not one person going on into NM, it's all of us.

Btw, this is realllly OT, but I wonder if someone can explain why a computer screen, in this case mine, would half about a quarter of the left side to cast what seems to be a color shade. As in, the bottom blue task bar looks slightly purple and it's really bothering me.

Hmm... This happens on this really small TV we have that is portable. I think the problem stems from getting a burn in your screen. Not sure though...

And I'm pretty sure we are full right now, sorry about that Reign...

Lets see:
Avenger
LIGHTning sorc (I remembered)
Werebear
Huntermentalist
Hammerdin
Lord of Magi
Trapper
and a Singer barb

So that's 8.

No, I'm a Pats fan and some Family Friends are Bears fans, so I'm probably going to a party at their house. Sorry if I don't show guys :/.

Yea I was just going to post about the same thing guys.

Sunday is not going to be good for a lot of people, including myself, due to the superbowl.

Is there any way we can work something out earlier on Sunday or perhaps another day? I just really don't want to have to wait another week...

Thats a good idea. I'm pretty much open most times (Superbowl's at my house), but we could try placing our game in the week-- Wednesday or Thursday? I don't think anything today would work well because not everyone would find out. Tomorrow might work, but we might still run into the same problem of "I thought we started at 7:00."

Well the forums were down, so I couldn't check. Bongo and I were there at 7:00 - 7:15 and because no one was there, we deduced that we weren't playing. Are we rescheduling this week or just skipping?

I say skip. No matter what everyone says, the easiest (if that is how you spell it) way to keep eveyone on the same track is to just keep playing on Sunday. If we miss one, too bad, it better of been a good reason (and it was).
Sorry you guys didn't see the thread and wasted time on Sunday waiting for everyone =/.
