    Undocumented set item - bug?

    Hi!

As I converted my D2 barb. to D2-LOD character, I found an undocumented set item in my stash. Is it a bug, or a hidden set item, or is it normal?
    The item is:

Cleglaw's Tooth , BUT! it is not a long sword, rather a full plate mail.

It worked well with Cleglaw's chain gloves in a set. As I had better gloves and plate mail, I sold them, but I still have an older save with the Tooth-Mail.

    Any ideas?

    cheers,
    misran

Can you post a screenshot? I haven't heard of this before.

Since you have a save, it's single player. Have you ever used any mods? or joined any open battle.net games?

no mods, no battle.net. I ever played only single player. I had some fine things in my stash and on my barbarian. As I converted my old d2 character to d2-lod character, all my things changed to something other stuff (almost all...). I had some fine armory and that changed to Ceglaw's Tooth - ARMOR!.
I didn't care about it much since I didn't know this set. But now, I read a lot about things and I realized that my armor is somewhat 'weird'.

For example, can I find a Ceglaw's Tooth - Sowrd when I have the armor with the same name? Has the item-generator drop-generator engine of my version gone mad? :)

Tomorrow, I will show You the picture.

    cheers,
    misran

Were the plate mail's mods similar to those of the Tancred's one?

There was a guy over at the Lurker Lounge who found a ring that believed it was a Cleglaw's Claw even though it had the stats of a Cathan's Seal.

What u have there is a milabrega's regalia that thinks it's clegaw's tooth. Interestingly it's red whereas milabrega's is normally blue.

Another notable set item bug, while this one doesn't have any out of the ordinary items, is this:

If you are carrying an identified Civerb set item, as well as any unid set item (no matter what set it belongs to - in my case, I had an unid IK boots in my stash), and mouse over the Civerb item, the green text that tells you what items you have in the set will claim that the unid set item is part of the Civerb set. (I'm not sure if it always claims to be the Ward or not; in my case, I moused over the Icon and discovered that it said I had the Ward, which I most clearly did not ...)
